The original Samsung 45W Super Fast Charging adapter (model EP-T4510) costs PKR 4,200 at AvaNext Pakistan, with Cash on Delivery available nationwide. It is the fastest wall charger Samsung makes for its Galaxy S and Note line — but whether your phone can actually use that speed depends entirely on the model you own. If it cannot, you are paying PKR 1,360 more than you need to.
This guide covers which Galaxy phones support 45W, what the genuine EP-T4510 looks like compared to the copies flooding Daraz and local shops, how load shedding and voltage spikes interact with fast charging, and whether the PKR 4,200 price is justified given what is available in Pakistan right now.
Which Samsung Galaxy Phones Actually Support 45W Charging?
Samsung sells two fast-charging tiers in its USB-C lineup: Super Fast Charging (25W) and Super Fast Charging 2.0 (45W). The 45W standard uses a higher-voltage PPS (Programmable Power Supply) protocol that only specific models support at the hardware level.
Phones confirmed to support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 in Pakistan: Galaxy S24+, S24 Ultra, S23 Ultra, S22 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra. On a Galaxy S24 Ultra with a genuine 45W adapter and a good USB-C cable, charge speeds are noticeably faster than with a 25W adapter.
Phones that cap at 25W regardless of charger: Galaxy S24, S23, S22, S21 series (all non-Ultra variants), Galaxy A55, A35, A15, and most of the A-series. Plugging a 45W adapter into an A55 charges it at 25W — the extra wattage in the adapter is wasted on these devices.
If your phone is not in the 45W-compatible list, the Samsung 25W PD Adapter at PKR 2,840 charges your device at its maximum rated speed, and you save PKR 1,360 with no real-world disadvantage.
Samsung 45W vs 25W — Price, Specs, and What You Actually Get
| Spec | Samsung 25W PD Adapter | Samsung 45W EP-T4510 |
|---|---|---|
| Price at AvaNext (PKR) | 2,840 | 4,200 |
| Charging standard | Super Fast Charging (PPS 25W) | Super Fast Charging 2.0 (PPS 45W) |
| Max wattage | 25W | 45W |
| Compatible with A-series | Yes — charges at rated speed | Yes — but only at 25W |
| Compatible with S22/S23/S24 Ultra | Yes — at 25W | Yes — at full 45W |
| USB-C cable included | No | Yes (USB-C to USB-C) |
The 45W at AvaNext includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, which the 25W adapter does not. Factor that in when comparing prices: a decent USB-C cable runs PKR 700–1,200 separately, so the effective cost difference between the two bundles narrows to around PKR 150–650 for 45W-compatible device owners.
What Does the Genuine Samsung 45W Charger Cost in Pakistan?
The official Samsung EP-T4510 adapter is available at PKR 4,200 at AvaNext. That price includes the charger and an original USB-C cable, with Cash on Delivery. If you are in Karachi, you can also pick it up at the AvaNext counter in Saddar and inspect it before paying.
On Daraz, you will find Samsung 45W listings from PKR 900 to PKR 2,500. Those are copies — universally. The import cost of the genuine Samsung EP-T4510 unit alone does not allow retail pricing below PKR 3,500 in Pakistan. When a price looks implausible, it is because the product is implausible.
Grey market pricing in Saddar typically runs PKR 3,800–4,600 depending on the vendor and day. The AvaNext price at PKR 4,200 with COD and a replacement guarantee is reasonable for a genuine unit — you are not paying a premium over grey market, and you get the ability to verify the product on delivery before handing over money.
How to Tell a Fake Samsung 45W Charger from the Original
The Samsung 45W is one of the most copied chargers sold in Pakistan. Some copies look convincing from the outside. These are the reliable checks:
Model number and certification marks. The genuine EP-T4510 carries the model number clearly printed on the label alongside PSB or equivalent certification marks. Copies often reproduce the model number but omit or blur the certification text, or the label font is slightly off.
Weight. A genuine Samsung 45W adapter is noticeably heavier than most copies — the real transformer and protection components add mass. If the charger feels unusually light for its size, that is a warning sign.
What your phone displays. When you plug a genuine 45W adapter into a Galaxy S24 Ultra or S23 Ultra, the battery status should show "Super Fast Charging 2.0". A copy adapter will typically show only "Fast Charging" or "Charging" — it cannot negotiate the 45W PPS protocol that Samsung's 2.0 standard requires.
The cable connector quality. The genuine EP-T4510 bundle uses a USB-C cable with a firm, precise connector fit. Copies often include cables with loose connectors or noticeably thin insulation near the plug.
Does Load Shedding Damage Fast Charging Equipment in Pakistan?
This is a legitimate concern for every Pakistani buyer, not just those using Samsung chargers. When city power returns after a load-shedding cut, there is often a brief voltage spike before the grid stabilises. In older residential wiring common across Karachi and Lahore, these spikes can be sharp.
A genuine Samsung 45W adapter carries internal protection circuits: overvoltage cutoff, thermal shutdown, and PPS current regulation. These circuits absorb brief grid irregularities before they reach the USB-C port or the phone's battery management IC.
A copy charger at PKR 900 or PKR 1,500 has simplified or absent protection circuitry — the cost savings come from exactly these components. In a voltage-stable environment this may not matter for months. In Karachi or Lahore, where the grid during peak summer months fluctuates regularly, the risk is real. A damaged battery management IC on a Galaxy S24 Ultra is not a cheap repair.
The PKR 1,360 difference between a copy and an original Samsung charger is a poor trade against that repair cost. The more important number is PKR 4,200 vs the cost of a battery replacement service, which starts above PKR 8,000 for recent Galaxy S-series models.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Samsung 45W charger available with Cash on Delivery in Pakistan?
Yes. AvaNext stocks the original Samsung 45W EP-T4510 adapter at PKR 4,200 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan. The bundle includes a USB-C to USB-C cable.
Can I use the Samsung 45W charger with my iPhone?
Yes, with a limitation. The Samsung 45W adapter outputs USB-C Power Delivery, which is compatible with iPhone 15 and later (USB-C port). The iPhone will not draw 45W — Apple limits iPhone 15 and 16 models to 27W maximum for the Pro Max, and 20W for standard models. You will need a USB-C to USB-C cable. For iPhone users, the Apple 20W charger at PKR 3,800 is the more purpose-built choice.
What does "Super Fast Charging 2.0" mean on Samsung phones?
Super Fast Charging 2.0 is Samsung's branding for its 45W USB-C PPS charging standard. It is available only on specific high-end Galaxy models (S22/S23/S24 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Tab S9 series). The original 25W Super Fast Charging standard covers the rest of the Galaxy lineup. The difference is real but only applies if your device supports the 45W tier.
How do I know if my Samsung 45W charger is genuine?
Plug it into a 45W-compatible Samsung phone (S24 Ultra, S23 Ultra, etc.) and check what the phone displays. A genuine EP-T4510 will show "Super Fast Charging 2.0" in the battery status. A copy will show "Fast Charging" or "Charging" — it cannot negotiate the higher PPS voltage the 2.0 standard requires. Also verify the model number (EP-T4510) is clearly printed on the adapter label with certification marks present.
Is the Samsung 45W charger worth buying over the 25W in Pakistan?
Only if your phone is on the 45W-compatible list (Galaxy S24+, S24 Ultra, S23 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Tab S9+ series). If you have any A-series Galaxy or a non-Ultra S-series, the 45W adapter charges your phone at 25W and costs PKR 1,360 more for no real benefit. Buy the 25W and invest the difference in a quality cable.
