Common Marks and What They Certify

  • CE (Europe): Confirms the product meets EU health, safety, and environmental protection standards — widely used as a general quality signal even outside Europe
  • FCC (USA): Confirms the device meets US standards for electromagnetic interference, relevant mainly for wireless charging and Bluetooth devices
  • MFi (Apple): "Made for iPhone/iPad" — confirms the accessory meets Apple's own compatibility and safety standards for use with Apple devices, specifically relevant for third-party Lightning/USB-C cables and chargers
